Where the Playing Card Stuff Started

This was the first piece I did featuring playing cards, rabbits, hats etc. This was the second one I did. This one was done in paint ( I really hate painting, but felt like torturing myself.) The first was done in pencil.

It has a bit of a dark feel about it to me. 

Jack of Spades

The rabbit has returned !!!! Wearing the hat this time. And a frock coat. (why the hell not ! :) ). I used Tim Burton's White Rabbit from Alice In Wonderland as inspiration here. This is my randomness again. I don't really know why I chose to have a rabbit as a Jack. Looks pretty good though. 

So a rabbit, top hat, frock coat, magic wand (Can you see it ???), rose, leaves and a checkered floor = Jack of spades ..... some how!

Ace of Diamonds

Here I wanted to keep the traditional colours of the deck, so I went for a ruby encased in another layer of something with shards chipped away to reveal the red underneath.

I'm not sure that i'm totally happy with this. Don't know why but...Oh well.

Ace of Hearts

I wanted to create an alternative look for a deck of cards. After many hours of 'googleing'  to see what was already out there, I started to create some alternative designs.

More recently I've been doing a lot of playing card/magician related designs, featuring rabbits, top hats. They have a pretty cool effect and at the same time they can look slightly surreal.  

I don't really know what made me all of these items in this design. Just goes to show the extent of my randomness.

Ooooo first post, how exciting!

So, Livvii's eccentric enigmas. Thought it would be a good idea to share some of my random thoughts, artwork etc. , to show you what goes on inside my head however crazy it may seem. So here goes nothing!!!
