Mort

As part of my art GCSE I had to do a project about Similarities and Differences. For this project I chose to focus on Death. I looked at death in different cultures, religions and points in history. 

This was the result of looking at what society stereotypically associates with death. I used white pencil on black paper to acheive this look.

Freak Like Me

This piece was inspired by the song Freak Like Me by Halestorm. It includes the lyrics:

 "This is no disease, you don't need a cure!"  

Here I explored how being different and standing out from the crowd can be something that is frowned upon. You can, by some people, be seem as something that needs to be fixed. In reality there is nothing wrong with you. Being different is just a way of showing who you really are. We don't need curing of our individuality.
