I quite enjoyed this book.
The writing style used flows well and seems to seamlessly switch perspectives, without interrupting the overall flow of the story. I was immediately drawn into the story right from the start. The characters are instantly likable and engaging. Nicole is very dedicated to her work and comes across as very passionate and caring, with a fun side. The Vampires in this are the typical alpha male, tall dark and handsome, not that I'm complaining (if it ain't broke, don't fix it right?) These guys have a great sense of humour, that really endears them to you. The one thing I will say is, they have golden eyes that go black when they are angry of hungry.....sound familiar? Wonder is they sparkle in the sunlight? Or have a cousin that goes by the name of Edward? In all honesty that is the only comparison that can be made with Twilight (again, this isn't a negative; I liked Twilight, just making an observation.)
This had a great story line, and some really entertaining characters that will have you laughing out loud. I can't wait to read more!
