I finally have all of the Huntress series in paperback, and I’m so happy that I can now binge read them all.

I really enjoyed this, and the way that it has built on the events of Ancient Magic. I liked the slow developments that we see with all the characters; the way that you learn more about Aidan’s past as well as how the relationship grows between him and Cass. I like that nothing has been hurried, it would have been too predictable for them to become a thing right off the bat, this slow gaining of each others trust is much more entertaining. I also liked that this book started to peel back the layers on Cass’s past with out revealing to much in one go.

There was plenty of adventure in this book, making for a real page turner....so my reading binge continues.....

Good series. Recommend

This is a short novella that comes before Ancient Magic.

I throughly enjoyed this story that shows you how the sisters started their business and met their friends Conner and Claire (also reveals how Cass acquired her favourite obsidian daggers)

I totally recommend this for the couple hours of enjoyment and action that it will bring you.

Okay so I really really enjoyed this book. If you are looking for a super quick read, that is fast paced has some awesome characters and a good dose of action, then this is for you.

I thought that this book had a great unique concept that made it a real page-turner. I feel that Linsey Hall has put her own spin on the magic genre with this book. I love the idea of there being these somewhat hidden cities that the rest of the world doesn't know about, where all of these magically inclined individuals reside. I thought that Cass, Del and Nix were very interesting characters, even though Cass is the main focus in this book. I can't wait to find out more of their backstory and see how their characters develop. I also liked that Hall has put her own stamp on the whole shapeshifter thing, with Aiden even being able to change into another mythical creature like the Griffin; I thought that this was really different and refreshing to see someone do something other than the standard werewolf aspect (not that werewolves aren't awesome, because they are).

I think that this series has a lot of potential and I can;t wait to get my hands on the next installment. I definitely recommend that you check this out.
