Book Review: Restored and The Spire (The Walshes #5 & #6) by Kate Canterbary

Restored (The Walshes, #5)Restored by Kate Canterbary
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was another amazing installment to this series.

I liked how we revisited the relationship between Sam and Tiel in this book as I always felt that there was so much more to be said about them together. I liked that this book had the same approach to the time line as in Shannon and Will's book.

It was interesting to see Tiel put the history she has with her family to rest and finally start to move forward with Sam, slowly start to embrace his family as her own. I also like how Riley, in his own way, has a place in their relationship also, as well as the extra dynamic it adds.

This was a really great way to continue the series, and is totally worth reading.

The Spire (The Walshes, #6)The Spire by Kate Canterbary
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I think that his book was different from the others in the series as it showed two long running characters coming together, in a way that I personally found, quite unexpected.

I really liked the story between Nick and Erin. I was surprised that despite the hurried nature of them meeting and getting married, that the rest of the story didn't feel rushed and was actually very well paced out. I loved the fact that we finally got to see more of these characters and really understand them. I really liked the way that the email and texting format was used throughout the book to show them doing the whole long distance relationship thing, I think that this worked well.

I can't wait to see more of them as a couple in future books and also to see the relationship between Erin and Shannon develop and grow.

Loved this. If you have been reading the series so far then I totally recommend continuing with this one.
